Join me as I return to Cookie-A-Thon and learn how to make this adorable 3D cookie with an isomalt dome and inset photo! And in case you were wondering, this cookie is 100% edible!
Tell Me More About the Cookie!
It was hot in June and July when I was working on my project, and I needed to think cool thoughts. So why not make a winter themed cookie? Smells of winter filled my kitchen as I baked up gingerbread cookies. The temperature was still hot, but I was feeling cool as I created edible prints and royal icing snowscapes. To finish the snow globe effect, I created a crystal clear dome using Simi Isomalt. Was I listening to Trans-Siberian Orchestra as I decorated? Maybe, but I didn’t care!
